Who is the data controller
The data controller is Elite Tech s.r.o., registered in Bratislava, Slovakia. For any privacy-related question write to info@elitetech.sk. The founder answers personally, within one working day.
What data we collect
- Data you send us through the contact form or by email: name, work email, company, role and project description.
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) from page views.
- Optionally, cookieless analytics through Plausible or a similar tool, when enabled.
Why we process it
- To answer your enquiry and continue the conversation.
- To deliver the contract, if we decide to work together.
- To keep the site secure and protect it against abuse (legitimate interest).
- To understand which pages people read (legitimate interest, aggregated).
Legal basis
We process data on the basis of your consent (contact form), contractual necessity (client engagements) or our legitimate interest (security, aggregated analytics). No selling, no remarketing.
Who we share data with
Nobody we would not list here. For invoicing, data may pass through our accountant. For infrastructure we use Vercel (hosting) and Google Workspace (email). We never transfer data outside the EU without your explicit consent.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that did not lead to an engagement: held for at most 12 months, then deleted. Client data: kept for the duration of the contract plus the statutory period for accounting records (10 years). Server logs rotate after 30 days.
Your rights
- Right of access: write to us and we will send you your data.
- Right to rectification: tell us what is wrong and we will correct it.
- Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten'): we will delete everything we are not legally required to keep.
- Right to data portability: we will export your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection.
